“Wo bisch?” is an interactive public-space installation that explores surveillance, self-representation and visibility in an age shaped by AI and constant camera presence. Installed directly in public space, the project invites passers-by to decide for themselves whether they want to be captured by a permanently visible camera system. Each image is briefly displayed until replaced by the next participant, creating a temporary and constantly changing archive shaped by public interaction.By transforming surveillance into a voluntary act, the installation questions how behaviour changes when control over visibility is handed back to the people being observed. Combining interaction design, electronics and critical technology research, the project reflects on the tension between public monitoring, participation and the human desire for self-representation.
